Yield, Submit, Present

WELCOME to a new season of Pocket of Prayer!

Today begins a week-long series, entitled, PRAYER FOR THE SOUL.

The series is inspired by Romans 12:1-2 and will be filled with powerful intercession, as always, for the well-being of your mind, will, and emotions.

But first, as our featured scripture commands, we must yield, submit, and “… present our bodies a living sacrifice…” to the Lord.

Join me in this preparatory prayer for all who listen and for Mashiach’s Body, everywhere, in Yeshua’s Name.

Stand in the Gap

Welcome to the Thursday edition of Pocket of Bible Study! It is our pleasure to bring this topical study to you every week, and this week is no exception!

God calls us all to stand in the gap for ourselves, others, our nation, and our world – are you prepared to do that today?

Please open your bibles to Ezekiel 22:30-31 and Ezra chapters 9 and 10, then prepare your hearts for a blessing of conviction (yes, 🙂 conviction is a blessing), entreaty, and encouragement from the Lord.

NOT the Tail**

Wow! It’s Thursday already, and ENCORE WEEKS has been rolling right along delivering all the truths of God’s word and heart in classic episodes for nearly two weeks! I pray you’ve all enjoyed them – I certainly have. 🙂

Today’s heartfelt podcast delivers encouragement we all need when we’re not exactly feeling like our true selves in Christ. Remember that feelings will betray you, but the Lord never will. God bless.

“Prepare the Way”

Welcome to the Tuesday night edition of Pocket of Bible Study!

We know John the Baptist was called by God to be the forerunner of Jesus Christ, but have you ever considered that there is a very similar call of God on the life of every believer concerning the Lord?

Tonight’s gentle exegesis of the book of John comes from the first chapter, verses 29-51, but we’re looking most closely at verses 29-37. Open your bibles, and prepare your hearts for another marvelous journey through the scriptures! 🙂
